Familial Meniere Disease
Gene: HLA-DRB1Comment on list classification: The allele HLA-DRB1*1101 was associated with bilateral MD in a Mediterranean population (43 individuals) but this association not replicated in a cohort from northern Spain (37 individuals) (PMID: 17592398) or in a group of 168 patients with bilateral MD (PMID:25397881). In a study with a Korean population significantly higher frequency of HLA-DRB1*15 was found (39 individuals) (PMID:12542204). No statistically significant association found in HLA-DRB1 alleles in another Korean study (41 individuals)(PMID:12622783)Created: 21 Mar 2018, 11:38 a.m.
Previous association with this gene in bilateral Meniere disease has not been replicated in larger cohort of MDCreated: 20 Feb 2018, 5:55 p.m.
