Green List (high evidence)

Not green on any UK panel. On omim as biallelic PMID:36564622 Five individuals from two families each with a different homozygous truncating variant in KIF26A segregating with profound ENS dysfunction that manifested clinically like Hirschsprungs disease despite normal ganglionosis. They all have neurological involvement with brain malformations ranging from ventriculomegaly to severe congenital hydrocephalus in two siblings who died early in life. PMID: 36228617 4 familes 5 unrelated patients with complex cortical dysplasia with other brain malformations. One presented prenatally with bilateral schizencephaly at 21 weeks' gestation. Other abnormalities included shortened corpus callosum, a high-arched palate and long philtrum, and absence of a stomach bubble on ultrasound.
