New approved HGNC gene symbol for NARS is NARS1. On PanelApp- severe microcephaly, DDG2P, early onset/syndromic epilepsy, ID panels. PMID:32738225- 32 affected individuals from 21 families reported- 13 families had biallelic variants. Review of supplementary data shows prenatal IUGR in one case. microcephaly is progressive and most didn't have any prenatal findings.
