Green List (high evidence)

PMID 39420202: 12 CAKUT patients from 9 families with 5 different rare heterozygous TSHZ3 missense variants predicted to be deleterious. PMID 36553458: frameshift variant (unknown inheritance) in a 7-year-old girl with intellectual disability, behavioural issues, pyelocaliceal dilatation, and mild urethral stenosis. PMID 34919690: haploinsufficiency of the mouse Tshz3 gene leads to kidney defects. Red on CAKUT panel but recently reviewed as green. Associated renal abnormalities would be visible on ultrasound though would not all be an indication for R21 in isolation.
