I can only find support for a biallelic MOI. PMID 23033978 contains reference to a child who was identified as having a de novo variant & a rare paternally inherited variant. Although the allele of origin for the de novo variant could not be confirmed, the clinical phenotype was reported to fit with Donnai-Barrow syndrome. This is consistent with the previously reported biallelic MOI.
