Phenotype of 3-methylglutaconic aciduria, type III has Neurologic features that occur later in childhood which include cognitive defects that are variable from mild to severe, in their second decade. Although most of cases involved the Iraqi-Jewish population but two pathogenic vars have been found since in others populations. Comment on list classification: Upgraded rating after discussion with internal clinical team who agree that given the neurological presentation this gene should be Green rated on the ID panel
