Green List (high evidence)

PMID: 23248626. CD244 helps regulate natural killer (NK) cell anti-viral activity and virus-specific CD8 T-cells and is involved in virus infections.

PMID: 21064032. In chronic HBV infection, Virus-specific CD8+ T-cells expressed higher levels of CD244 in chronic HBV infection. CD244 was expressed at high levels in EBV infection but low for influenza. CD244 may be potential target for immunotherapy in chronic viral infections.

PMID: 28396665 CD244 is upregulated in NK cells in HIV-infected treatment-naive patients, which is strongly correlated with HIV disease progression.
