Fang et al (PMID:30467622) Reports that the CXCL10/CXCR3 axis plays a role in diverse autoimmune diseases including in Oral Lichen Planus.

Ferrari et al (PMID: 26318079) states that CXCR3, CXCL10 mainly participates in the generation and migration of effector T cells, and induces the directed migration of lymphocytes to specific sites of infection, causing the infiltration of lymphocytes, and ultimately producing local immune responses
